Microsoft’s Cloud business is experiencing rapid growth, and the Capacity, Supply Chain & Provisioning (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth. Microsoft is at the forefront of enabling Artificial Intelligence into the cloud environment and our mission is to deliver the world’s computer with an industry-leading supply chain. CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide.
We are looking for a Director, Integrated Business Planning (IBP). The Integrated Business Planning team is responsible for IBP Process maturity, monthly cycle alignment, cross functional collaboration and driving business results.
Responsibilities
As a Director of Integrated Business Planning you will be:
Managing the IBP/ Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP) monthly process to deliver business results by driving strategic direction across Business Priorities, Financial Goals, and Operations.- Leading the Executive IBP monthly alignment with cross functional management
- Driving alignment and synergy across New Product Development, Finance, Demand, Capacity Planning, Supply.
- Driving alignment between the Capacity Plan and CapEx/Financial Processes, identify and recommend tradeoff decisions to align budget.
- Developing, implement, monitor, and report on cross-functional Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure effective execution, integration, and performance of IBP process.
- Streamlining the monthly rhythm of business and drive cross functional change management to enable a best in class IBP process.
- Continuously improve the monthly IBP cycle, including timeliness of the demand and supply plan submissions, reduction of cycle-time, robust alignment with financial budgets and projections.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, Supply Chain, Fincanial Planning or product development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 3+ years of experience in any, but not limited to, of the following: Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and/or Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
Other Requirments
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the High-Tech industry and Cloud/Hyperscale supply chain preferred
- Excellent cross functional leadership and influencing skills, resulting in tangible business decisions and outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex cross-functional problems into clear solutions/recommendations
- Demonstrated analytical skills and capable of using models for optimization purposes
Technical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.
