Salary range: $95,000-$100,000 (+Bonus) Annually. This role is an exempt position.

We are looking for a dynamic Marketing Account Director, Travel & Tourism in Los Angeles or NYC to join our team of versatile storytellers and marketers who are professionally dedicated to their passions for food, wine, and travel.
Responsibilities:
- Client-facing, strategic lead on multiple client teams, with a focus on travel and tourism clients
- Work with the leadership team to curate client teams for maximum profitability and expertise
- Guide, provide direction to, and develop growth opportunities for all junior staff
- Monitoring team hours to ensure efficiencies
- Manage the development and implementation of marketing plans, advertising and digital marketing strategies (including social media), travel trade strategies and business plans
- Communicate client goals, vision, and values to teams
- Draft and execute marketing agendas, operational plans, and KPI reports
- Conduct in-depth analysis of the regional environment and provide current and accurate market intelligence to stakeholders
- Lead sales initiatives, updating CRM, and actively participate in the new business process
- Liaise and negotiate with appropriate tourism organizations including wholesalers, retail agencies, consortia, airlines, and more in the US and Canada
- Develop and implement strategic direction for client accounts
- Integrate and execute strategy in specialized areas such as social media strategy, earned media and proactive media pitching, partnership development, influencer marketing, travel trade strategy and engagement, roadshows etc
- Attend relevant events/FAMs/media opportunities/etc.
Requirements:
- Experience working with premium travel, destination, hotel, resort and lifestyle brands, with travel trade experience of 6+ years. Travel industry background with a tour operator, hotel, consortia, airline, wholesale or retail travel agency is a plus. Understanding media relations and relevant experience is an asset.

- Must be able to communicate in a clear and professional manner
- Proficient in Google Business applications, Microsoft Office and other platforms such as Adobe
- Has interest and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
