VDO.AI is a video advertising platform that helps web publishers access the power of video content and advertising, boosting their monetization by up to 50%. Our proprietary technology platform provides the video player, video streaming, video content and video advertising in an end to end offering to some of the biggest publishers on the internet. The aim is to integrate the best advertisers with qualified publishers, to enable a high value video advertising ecosystem to thrive.
As Director, you will lead all of the tactical sales and client management responsibilities of your book of business. You will be responsible for hiring, training, and managing sellers while driving revenue through a combination of first class account management and proactive selling of our true end-to-end technology solution that has a global reach, that is accessible across all channels, all devices, and verified with advanced measurement tools powered by data intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand VDO.ai's Ad Platform value proposition and work to develop unique offerings addressing our partners’ individual business priorities and marketing needs
- Tap into your network of industry leaders to grow VDO.AI's brand and business across the region selling into major agency holding companies and top-tier brands at the most senior levels
- Hire, train, and manage a team of all-star agency & brand sellers
- Develop leads and build the pipeline while effectively forecasting monthly and quarterly sales
- Think strategically to identify sources of growth, profitability and efficiency for the Ad Sales business based on macro-buying trends and seasonal initiatives
Key Requirements:
- 5-10+ years of sales & management experience in the online advertising space.
- Ability to deal with various undertakings all the while and to deal with different needs in a relentless situation
- Large network of personal connections in the relevant advertising companies
- Strong communications, organizational and interpersonal skills with an attention to detail
- Ability to work individually and collaboratively under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced start-up environment
