We are now looking to recruit a Business Development Consultant to support our Direct Sales Team. This is a full time position working 40 hours per week. We are hiring at our Helsby, Manchester and Glasgow office. Hybrid position working from one of our offices and home working.
Responsibilities:
- Work within allocated sectors promoting the RSK Group services to existing and potential/new clients.
- Generate your own leads by following industry news.
- Develop new business opportunities across a range of industrial sectors.
- Utilise LinkedIn to research and approach relevant decision-makers.
- Introduce the BDDs to the relevant decision-makers.
- Manage your own portfolio of clients and maintain regular contact to build ongoing client relationships.
- Diary management when arranging external/internal meetings for the BDDs.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities on the RSK CRM database.
Person specification
Strong communication skills to develop effective relationships with decision-makers.- Confident telephone manner.
- Adaptable and proactive, able to learn new skills in a fast-moving industry.
- Highly organised and capable of managing your own workload.
- A team player with the ability to mostly work independently.
- Tenacious and self-motivated.
- Fully competent in using CRM, MS Office, LinkedIn, and general internet for research.
- Previous B2B Sales experience
Salary and benefits:
- £25,000 - £27,000 per annum
