Job description
Available Job Today Are you looking for a job where you get job satisfaction that you'd struggle to find anywhere else? We're looking for someone like you to complete our amazing #TeamBobCooney in Aberdeen on a permanent (35 hours per week) basis.
The Role
You'll become part of a friendly, dedicated, fun team who supports four adults with learning and physical disabilities to live in their own shared home. The great thing about this job is no two days are ever the same.
Your main aim will be supporting each individual with their day to day needs, including personal care, shopping, finances, cooking, housework and medication.
As all of the individuals love to get out and be part of their local community, you’ll also find yourself getting involved in activities like the cinema, musicals, gardening, cars and going for walks to name a few.
About You
You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll give you all the training you'll need if you're successful. We'll pay you for your training and we'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification too!
All we’ll need you to bring is: -
- A caring and compassionate attitude.
- The ability to work well in a team.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- A creative drive to improve the lives of the individuals you support.
- Confidence in the use of computers.
Shift Patterns
As we're dedicated to providing the best support, tailored to the needs of each individual shift patterns usually fall within the hours of 0730-2200 hours and will include sleepovers (10am - 10am the following day), weekend and public holiday working on a rotational basis.
The sleepover part of your shift is not included in your contracted hours, so you will receive an additional payment of £84 for every sleepover shift that you work.
