We are looking for a new team member to join our Direct Payment Team!

Ideally you will have lived experience of using Direct Payments either for yourself or a family member. However experience is not essential because you will have full support from our experienced team, many of whom have lived experience. We will provide all the training that you need.

You will have the ability to engage with people from a variety of backgrounds and practitioners from all sectors of the community. You will have the ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
It is essential that you are committed to providing excellent customer care and good communication at all times.
You will be based in our office with the flexibility of some home working.
Travel across the city will be required as we meet with people in their homes as well as community settings.

What you will receive from us:

  • Disability North is an inclusive and supportive employer.
  • We have a generous flexible working system.
  • You will receive 25 days annual leave which increases after 5 year’s service
  • We gift you 3 days per year between Christmas and New Year
  • There is usually a good supply of treats in the office as we have some star bakers.
  • You will be part of a fantastic, supportive team.
  • Opportunities for development within the organisation
  • Free Car parking on site

An enhanced DBS will be required for this post.
