GRADUATE DATA ANALYST
Stockport, UK - CGA team
CGA’s insight and consultancy helps to inform major decisions within our clients’ businesses; utilising and extracting value from our diverse data sources to supporting either the commercial advance analytics or the Global Core Products the Analyst plays a leading role in ensuring CGA meets client’s analytic demands.
Responsibilities
- Produce, improve and advise on standard analytical techniques
- Undertake requested and approved advanced analytics for CS or Product Strategy such as sample & controls, situational analysis and price elasticity
- Support the business on big question analysis from existing data sources
- Support and advise CS teams when they undertake any advanced analytics,
- providing recommendations and training on ways of working & methodologies
- Support the business on developing our data visualization abilities
- Work with IS department to develop SQL coding and extraction skills to apply to CS current ways of working to create efficiencies
- Start to use SQL skills to provide CS teams with extracts of data to use, minimising team requirements to run big and timely queries
