Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
Do you have a genuine desire to help improve the lives of vulnerable people?
If so, we want to hear from you!
We are recruiting for a part-time (24 hour) Support Worker to support three gentlemen and one lady who live in their own home in the Penilee area of Glasgow. This is a waking night role working every Friday and Saturday night and is lone working, so we're looking for an experienced individual who is confident in their abilities.
Here, we support these individuals to live the best lives possible by providing support with whatever they need. They are very active in their community and enjoy a wide range of activities including going to shows, watching ice hockey, going out in the car, walks, going to the cinema, spending time with family and doing arts and crafts.
Your main goal will be to provide the right support so they can be as independent as possible and are supported to make their own choices. As you will be working overnight, you will also be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of these individuals overnight.
Your values:
We like people who are reliable and honest, so we can build trust and know that you have our best interests at heart.
It’s important that you can communicate well with us and work well within our team.
