About the role
This is an excellent entry-level role ideally suited to someone looking to kick-start their career in digital marketing at an award-winning SEO agency and at the same time study for a degree as a Digital UX Professional from Manchester Metropolitan University.
We are looking for a Digital User Experience apprentice to design software and platforms that meet people’s needs. You will combine interfaces and workflows to enhance user experience.
In this role, you should be an analytical and creative designer who is able to grasp user needs and solve problems. Ultimately, you will make our product more user-friendly to attract and retain customers.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Evaluating existing sites ad products for usability
- Working with customers and colleagues to plan and implement new UX projects
- Carry out research into users’ needs
- Developing personas, user stories and other resources that capture users’ needs
- Using specialist software to create mock-ups and prototypes
- Organising and running user testing
- Making recommendations and planning changes based on user feedback
- Exploring and implementing other ways to gather and incorporate users feedback

Job type
Full-time contract with time off (20%) to allow for course study and attendance at Manchester Metropolitan University. On completion of the degree apprenticeship a full time role will be available at Aqueous Digital.
