Digital Technologies Incubator Lead Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements Salary: Competitive What you'll be doing: Act as a focal point for and provide technical expertise to stakeholders in digital technologies, such as digital thread and twin Undertake research in order to develop or extend knowledge and expertise for the business and in pursuit of business opportunities Work with stakeholders to identify emergent technology-based capabilities and develop them through the R&T system, ensuring these are communicated effectively to inform programmes and future opportunity development Work with stakeholders to influence, agree and capture digital capability needs commensurate with digital technology opportunities Support evolving digital capabilities with specialist knowledge and advice within programmes across the Engineering function and if necessary at Sector and Group level Provide advice, guidance, coaching and technical support to other engineers and non-engineers within the area of digital technologies Undertake design and review, define, issue and maintain subject matter processes, specifications, standards and policy documents Your skills and experiences: Expertise in modern information technologies, methods and practices A Computer science degree or other STEM degree with significant computing content Expertise is required in modern digital technologies such as: digital threads, digital twins, cloud, IoT, AI/ ML and data analytics.
