Digital Talent Acquisition Professional (12 Month FTC)
- This is a 12 months fixed-term contract.
- Full time, with 3 days a week out of our Bristol Assembly or Birmingham Snowhill Digital hubs (flexible 2 days remote wherever)
What you’ll be doing
- You will be responsible for full end-to-end recruitment delivery. This includes but is not limited to: CV sifting and benchmarking, phone screening, hiring manager and agency briefings, advertising, sourcing/headhunting, interview co-ordination, salary and offer negotiation, onboarding.
- You’ll serve as the trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing a remarkable service focusing on ensuring both internal and external hiring is executed quickly and effectively, matching the best internal and external candidates to the right roles.
- This role will require you to develop a deep understanding of the requirements of your specialist area, having a good view of the internal and external market/competition and being able to provide a great service to hiring managers and candidates.
- Develop sourcing and attraction plans to ensure a healthy pipeline of quality candidates, working with the marketing team when required to support with the design and implementation of campaigns.
- Ensuring roles are advertised in an interesting and appealing way, to ensure we recruit the best talent to BT, advising the hiring manager of the best route to market and ensuring all advertising follows BT guidelines.
- Maintain governance around recruitment policy and ensure the business are making robust and evidence based decisions.
- Manage relationships with 3rd parties and preferred suppliers, where necessary.
- Attending external networking opportunities to enhance own knowledge and experience.
- Experience recruiting across data, AI, and all UX/UI product design disciplines (Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Content Designers, User Researchers, Product Designers, etc.).
- Demonstrable recruitment industry background, gained from either in-house or external RPO/agency environments – Ideally with working knowledge of large, complex, and global organisations.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with hiring managers and key stakeholders.
- Experience of influencing and advising key decision makers.
- Ability to manage expectations and prioritise high volume workloads.
- Full end to end candidate lifecycle management. From requisition opening, through to offer management & contracting.
- Passionate about excellent candidate experience and stakeholder care.
- Knowledge of current recruitment market trends including but not limited to: diversity and inclusion, assessment and selection, social media and marketing, apprentice and graduate hiring, employment law
