Role in summary
As our Digital Strategist you will be responsible for planning all areas of our clients’ digital and integrated communications. You will play an active and integral role in the interrogation of client briefs to understand brand objectives and budgets. You will be responsible for creating integrated and pure play digital strategies to elevate our clients’ brands amongst their target audiences, yielding strong ROI.
Role in detail
- Be an expert providing guidance for all teams within Zeal and our clients on digital and social media topics.
- Develop effective marketing and brand activation strategies which exploit digital tools and technologies.
- Develop insight led creative briefs which are a springboard for creative and design teams.
- Conduct clear and concise briefings, review resulting creative work, providing actionable feedback
- Present compelling strategies to clients and work iteratively with them to refine and develop them.
- Develop consumer profiles, research insights and brand personalities which are informed by evidence
- Use qualitative research and cultural mining tactics to inform strategic approaches.
- Identify opportunities to insert brands into the social conversation from trending news to creator and brand engagement.
- Support the day-to-day delivery of organic and paid social media campaigns, community management and content marketing programmes, working with colleagues to ensure best in class output is reached.
- Have a strong working knowledge across all social and digital advertising platforms such as Meta Ads, YouTube Ads, TikTok Ads and Snapchat Ads.
- Design strategies for influencer and creator partnerships from conception to execution within set budgets.
- Have knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics, and conversion tracking and how to build evaluation strategies
- Conduct ongoing research and identify key digital, social and influencers trends in key sectors.
- Ensure best practices in content strategy (video, social, website), community management, social engagement and SEO.
- Share industry insights on new product offerings on core platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok and Instagram) with the wider team.
Who we are looking for…
- Experience in a digital focussed strategist role within an agency setting.
- Understanding of digital and integrated marketing campaign implementation from start to finish, including planning, execution and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders with strong examples of clear and concise communication.
- Working knowledge of data and analytics platforms and how to apply data insights to inform and justify strategies.
- Able to deconstruct and interrogate complex client briefs
- Experience creating creative briefs, copy briefs. Ability to review social copy, content calendars.
- An understanding of the capabilities of the key tools in social management eg. Hootsuite, Social Studio, Meltwater
- Personal enthusiasm for the digital, social and influencer space
- Knowledgeable about audiences and what makes consumers tick
- Strong presentation and strategic skills
