Role Introduction:

An exciting opportunity for an ambitious and highly capable salesperson to make an important contribution to the company’s success, by performing a new Digital Sales Executive role in the Managed Services new business team. Your role will include finding new business and cross sell opportunities and maintaining existing client relationships. The role is office based, you will be expected to work closely with the Business Development and Marketing teams to meet the demands of the role and the requirements of the prospects. What You Will Do:
  • As a Digital Sales Executive, you will identify new opportunities through a combination of self-generation activities and also working closely with our Marketing team
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing to plan, build and execute effective digital campaigns, including generating content, contributing to planning workshops, and executing or coordinating the pre-campaign and post-campaign sales activities
  • Nurture leads through the sales cycle and either owning them from initial engagement all the way through to closure, or working alongside a senior salesperson if the opportunity is large or complex
  • Support the Co-Sell and Cross-Sell sales motions with partners, consultants, and colleagues across the group to generate pipeline
  • Develop win strategies for your key deals, in alignment with the Advanced Value Selling Sales Methodology
  • Write and/or contribute to proposals, papers, business cases, ROI analyses, or any other collateral that may be needed as part of the sales cycle
  • Work with the Sales Director and Pre-Sales to create commercial models that align to our win strategy whilst also ensuring we achieve our target margins on each deal
  • Contribute to the contract negotiations on successful bids, working alongside the Sales Director and our in-house legal team
  • Build and nurture a multi-level relationship with the customers and nurture every opportunity in the right way
  • Ensure that all sales activity is captured and logged effectively in the CRM system
  • Understand the competitive landscape and any relevant trends within our marketplace, so that we can ensure our value propositions remain relevant
  • Providing regular updates and reports on sales activities
  • Understand the business plans and expectations of your prospects
  • Achieve sales of services to the value set by your manager of sales in the first year
  • Ensure you generate a strong pipeline of opportunities to enable you to reach your sales target
What You Will Have:
  • A minimum of 2+ years in a junior sales role in a Managed Services or software business
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to build rapport at all levels of an organisation
  • The ability to innovate and challenge conventional thinking to push the boundaries of established practice, use new systems and get insights from some of the great tech we use
  • Good administration skills
  • Ambitious, driven and motivated to hit target
  • Diligent with a good eye for detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Practices, Business Development teams, and Marketing
  • Reasonable understanding of the following propositions:
    • Cloud
    • Cyber Security
    • Managed Services / IT Outsourcing
