In the role of Digital Sales Assistant, you'll collaborate with a talented team to make sure every book reaches its full sales potential - and learn all there is to know about creating digital bestseller. We're looking not only for a data-driven detail geek, but someone who makes a habit of improving the way things are done, embraces change, and brings creativity to every problem.
What you will be doing -
Supporting our Digital Sales Manager with:
- Retail account management.
- Promotion and merchandising submissions, communications and scheduling.
- Liaising with editorial, operations marketing to ensure the smooth running and maximum impact of promotion.
- Analysing the impact of promotions.
- Analysing sales and ad data to inform package changes and pricing decisions.
- You will be a self-starter with a growth mindset.
- You will prize logical reasoning above all else, be data-driven and confident with numbers, graphs and technology.
- You will have exceptional attention to details, be highly organised, and be great at managing a varied workload with tight deadlines.
- You will be a clear and effective communicator.
- You will be driven to understand the different levers that can make a book sell.
- You have the talent to succeed in a fast-paced, commercial and creative digital business and a clear, demonstrable interest in building a career in publishing.

The role will be based at our London office, Carmelite House, with a blend of in-office (3 days) and homeworking (2 days) per week.
