Job description
The IT Department is responsible for delivering Information Technology to the Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust. In addition IT is responsible for delivering revenue generating IT services to other NHS organisations and private enterprises involved in the delivery of Healthcare. IT has a total user count of approximately 10,000. Services are delivered from multiple Datacentres.
The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust has initiated a 10 year £32M programme called “The Digital Trust” which is to deliver the NHS vision of Paperless at the Point of Care. The programme involves the full delivery of an Electronic Patient record and full interoperability population health solution with other Health and social providers within the local Black Country (STP) Digital Footprint.
As a Digital Project Manager, you will be responsible for a number of digital projects which are pivotal to the key strategic priorities of the Trust. This includes projects related to the implementation of the Trust’s Electronic Patient Record and business as usual systems.
- Managing and delivering multiple complex projects which fall within the Trust’s Digital Programme.
- Establishment, oversight, challenge and support to the Trust’s Digital Portfolio work-streams.
- Supporting the identification, development and implementation of Digital Projects
- Generating new ideas, bringing forward ideas for change and actively designing and developing the system configuration to improve the delivery of IT solutions.
- Development of project documentation and reports, ensuring that they are fit for the appropriate audience and governance structure.
- Developing key internal and external relationships, working independently and within a wider team with a flexible approach.
- Be an ambassador for IT services and deliver
