Digital Product Researcher
The Digital Product & Experience team within British Airways is responsible for creating customer-facing products that are innovative, effective and will change the experience of flying for the better.
We’re investing in building a first-class product team and are looking for talented Digital Product Researchers to join us.
What you’ll do:
- Work in multidisciplinary teams with designers, UX copywriters, product owners, analysts and developers to plan and execute research across all stages of the design process.
- Plan and manage UX research projects across products and share findings with the research team, product teams and relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Analytics, Optimisations and Customer Experience teams to ensure UX research is aligned with and informed by their work.
- Be comfortable with both Qualitative and Quantitive research, working formatively (discovery) and evaluating (testing and optimisation)
- Produce high-quality deliverables that translate research findings into compelling and actionable insights.
- Manage and support the documentation of research and sharing with stakeholders
- Champion the needs of the users, ensuring our digital experiences meet and go beyond their needs.
- Planning, conducting and delivering research studies. Writing research briefs, recruitment screeners, creating discussion guides, moderating interviews, analysis qualitative and quantitative results and produce and other research assets.
What you will bring to the team:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident and capable of running and facilitating workshops and moderated and unmoderated usability research
- Familiarity and experience in a wide range of qual and quant approaches, with an understanding of how best to utilise these (individually, as well as in tandem) to address the project objectives.
- High standard of report writing, making it easier for Stakeholders to connect the dots with clear communication and actionable recommendations.
- Understanding of the Double Diamond methodology
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Anthropology, Product Design, or related fields, or relevant professional experience.
- Experience working in a variety of sectors with a digital focus. Working within a corporate or agency environment would be beneficial
- Experience of: using remote research tools like Userzoom UserTesting or similar, Agile and working with consumer facing, revenue-generating products
