Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Software Product Owner to join our team and take ownership of our digital products. As a Software Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products that meet our customers' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate the product vision, goals, and priorities to the development team.
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with business objectives.
- Gather and prioritize product requirements based on customer feedback, market research, and business needs.
- Work closely with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Create and maintain detailed product documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the product, identifying areas for improvement.
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring a clear understanding of requirements.
- Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint review meetings.
- Engage with customers and gather feedback to drive product enhancements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technology advancements to inform product decisions.
- Collaborate with UI/UX Design teams, using low-fidelity wireframing tools, to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a Software Product Owner or similar role in a software development environment.
- Strong understanding of agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
- Experience with golf or sports-related products is a plus.
- A passion for golf and a deep understanding of the golf industry is desirable.
