POSITION DESCRIPTION
To deliver graphic design in line with Marketing objectives. Working with suppliers, customers and staff ensuring all design activities are implemented in a timely manner to promote the marketing experience at the highest level.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Lead on all design elements for the business group
- Creation of design templates, ensuring consistent look/feel
- Creation of up-to-date brand guidelines
- Rokwear (own brand) champion – ensuring consistency and high-quality look/feel for the brand across factories and packaging and data sheets, etc.
- Catalogue Management – make process as streamlined as possible, find ways to provide ROI if/where possible
- Printer Management – ensure competitive prices on print runs
- Promotional Merchandise – ensure branding/design is up to standard on merchandise
- Assist on photography, including lifestyle shoots and static product photography
- Customer Visuals, proposals, banners, email footers, etc.
- Innovation in design processes to make them more efficient
- Design of any guides/brochures/downloads for the websites
- Help supervise daily workflow of design/creative requests, ensuring deadlines are kept to, and liaising with the rest of the team to delegate where needed
- Keep up to date with the latest design trends
- Assist with UX design and development of the websites
- Assist in brainstorming/creative sessions with the Marketing team to generate ideas
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Essential
- Strong graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign essential)
- Database management
- Social media management skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Strong planning, organisationaland problem-solving skills
