We are currently on the hunt for a Junior Product Owner to support our BT Group and EE product team, be part of the transformation of our digital experiences.

You'll operate at squad level, leading a cross functional team of colleagues, delivering world class products. You'll influence the experience of millions of customers.

The exact digital product or journey in scope of any of our roles will evolve over time. You’ll be assigned to a squad based upon a combination of your background, development needs, interests and the business’ needs.
What You'll Be Doing

  • You'll be ruthlessly customer focussed by interrogating customer insight and data to identify key customer needs whilst supporting business priorities
  • You’ll use the product vision and strategy to define and evolve objectives and key results for your squad
  • You'll input into your squad strategy and prioritise a backlog to support this with a positive value to effort ratio
  • You'll leverage the squad's skills to collaboratively discover and iterate solutions that are valuable, usable, feasible and viable
  • You'll measure and clearly communicate your product’s performance and demonstrate how this contributes to the digital and business objectives
  • You'll nurture partnerships with stakeholders and collaborate with them to achieve the product vision

  • Coach, mentor and provide feedback where appropriate.
  • To think big and beyond the day to day.
  • Understands and applies lean principles of rapid build / measure / learn cycles.
  • Works with peers, scrum teams and business stakeholders to maximise value created by squad.
  • Customer obsessed – relentlessly campaigns to enhance customers’ lives.
  • Commercial – sound understanding of what creates value and what does not.
  • Technically Knowledgeable – Has a thirst to understand and learn their product’s features and technical composition. Is aware of new technologies and the potential they provide.
  • Does everything within their tribe’s control to deliver what was promised and ensures operational vigilance. But understands when to push back.
  • Data driven, consuming data and insight, utilising this to drive great customer experiences
