We’re looking for a talented Digital Product owner with a drive and passion for digital to join our growing team and become a key part of our digital transformation.
You will be responsible for owning and developing a product vision and roadmap for one of our key Digital products across one of our value streams (SME, CPS, Wholesale). This may include a revenue target or driving contact reduction across our Service Centres. You will set the vision and priorities and drive an agile squad to deliver against that vision and targets.

Immediate Assignment…
We’re seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Product Owner to join our newly formed Marketplaces product team. You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team in developing and launching new experiences on the marketplace platform targeted at Soho and SME customers. You will be the subject matter expert in catalogue management, personalisation and checkout. You will drive innovation on the end-to-end customer experience to help manage and grow their businesses through the relevant digital solutions to meet their needs. You will be technically fluent to collaborate with the tech team on assessing complexities and break them down into actionable steps that drive results. You will be data saavy to visualise and build dashboards for reporting and performance.

You will have the following accountabilities
Assignment Specific
  • You’ll develop a deep emphatic understanding of our users and synthesise customer needs to drive adoption and engagement
  • You’ll be responsible for revenue metrics inclusive LTV, ARPU, CMRR, ARR and churn
  • You’ll collaborate with the Data Science team to build a personalised experience on the marketplace

A BT Business Digital Product Manager Accountabilities
  • You’ll work with a range of stakeholders across multiple areas to understand new business needs and translate them into product requirements.
  • You’ll define user stories for all new product deliveries and manage the priority of the backlog.
  • You’ll be responsible for digital self-service metrics including digital engagement, net promoter score (NPS) and propensity to contact (PTC).
  • You’ll work with conflicting priorities and use customer insight and digital analytics to make informed decisions
  • You’ll communicate clearly, transparently and concisely with stakeholders and tell your squad’s story.
  • You’ll have a collaborative way of working, breaking down any barriers to move relationships forward.
  • You’ll drive the execution of the product roadmap working with multi-location development teams to deliver in agile and waterfall development cycles
  • You’ll collaborate with the Design team to define the UX & UI for all future capabilities, participating in user testing initiatives when required
  • You’ll lead on competitor research and benchmarking analysis; incorporating findings into future roadmap
  • You’ll prioritise activities for your squad based on what you’ve learnt from optimisation and tests – we want you to fail fast and learn quickly
  • You’ll define reporting requirements in order to monitor product performance against key success criteria
  • You’ll ensure your journeys are compliant with security guidelines

You'll have the following skills & experience
  • Commercial expertise in enterprise SAAS, ecommerce or similar industries
  • Understands agile methodologies and has ideally worked as part of a squad
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Able to work with peers, scrum teams and business stakeholders to maximise value created by squad.
  • Data driven, has excellent knowledge of product KPIs, and ability to draw insight from the numbers and translate to business requirements
  • Understands and applies lean principles of rapid build / measure / learn cycles.
  • Sound understanding of what creates value and what does not.
  • Has a thirst to understand and learn their product’s features and technical composition. Is aware of new technologies and the potential they provide.
  • Experience working with the Adobe marketing cloud (e.g. Adobe Analytics, AEM) JIRA, Confluence or other similar tools
  • To think big and beyond the day to day.
