Are you ready to bring exciting designs to life, while working closely with engineers and business partners in a product team?

The In-Store Enablement Product Team will help the LEGO Group build and manage the best of class In-Store digital ecosystem.

Core Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end product design across digital platforms - including research, concepts, interactive prototyping and user testing
  • Proactively identify and address problems to be solved, championing the needs of the user to build outstanding user-centric experiences
  • Consider the strategic impact of design, interrogating the 'why', not just the 'what' and 'how' of a problem
  • Be insightful, advising and validating your designs using quantitative and qualitative research
  • Partner with product managers, engineers and team members to shape the vision and strategic direction of the product, ensure the best possible outcome for the end users and the business
  • Confidently and articulately communicate design rationale to partners and the wider business
  • Active engagement in the wider LEGO Group design community

In this role you have the chance to create an impact by leading the product design and innovation efforts to enable store associates with new ways to communicate, manage and engage customers around LEGO products. The goal is to empower our store with the tools and technology they need to provide outstanding customer experiences while driving business growth.

Key to this role is understanding the needs of the store associates, how these align with the business objectives and our technical platform strategy, to deliver incrementally.

The role is part of “Partner & Retail Experiences” department that takes care of a portfolio of products specifically aimed at supporting our Partner & Retailers business in the best manner

Do you have what it takes?

  • Relevant commercial experience as a UX or product designer
  • Portfolio with multiple examples of delivered product design, demonstrating approach and design thinking
  • Experience in planning & conducting user research and testing activities
  • Proficient with design and research tools such as Figma, Miro, User testing, Preely etc
  • In-depth knowledge of human-centred design principles and UX standard processes, and experience applying them in practice
  • Good communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have experience of:

  • Agile ways of working

  • Designing functional products
  • Working with and contributing to design systems
