We are working on an exciting and industry defining project to grow our UK Media Team by bringing in-house a significant proportion of our media planning and buying capability. OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
As a Digital Media Planning Lead you will be responsible for:
Leading the design of best-in-class digital strategies and translating these into effective awareness and performance campaign activations across the digital mix and with multi-million £ budgets.
Understanding key Brand and business objectives and delivering against these. You will have end-to end responsibility for Digital plan activations and need to continuously optimise and drive efficiencies.
Owning and managing the relationships with high-level stakeholders across P&G Brand, Media and agency teams as well as media vendors to ensure alignment to and seamless implementation of Digital media strategies across touchpoints.
Working hand-in-hand with the Category Director & Planning Lead to align Digital plans and ensuring synergies between on and offline activations.
Leading the activation team and developing and coaching direct reports across Paid Social, Programmatic and Retailer Search.
Supporting innovation to remain ahead of the competition, connecting externally to stay in-touch with the latest trends.
Managing KPIs and insights and presenting main outputs to internal stakeholders.
Working closely with multiple stakeholders (Media, Trial, Analytics & Insights) and partners to deliver a consumer-centric data strategy.

Head Office Location:This role is based in our UK Head Office in Weybridge, Surrey which is an easy commute from London with regular trains from Waterloo and a free shuttle service from the station to the office. There is also an on-site Costa Coffee, discounted restaurant for breakfast and lunch and a state-of-the-art gym facility.
Flexibility: We operate a flex at work approach, with flexibility built into the role. Our UK Media Team spend 3 days of their week collaborating together in our offices or at our external partners or customers. This is balanced with 2 of their days spent on focused work which most tend to do from home. Of course, we do a bit of both every day, but we encourage our teams to choose where they work based on the jobs to be done.

Qualifications
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU…
Have proven experience and expertise in strategic media planning across the digital mix in a media agency or in-house environment.
Have some historical digital buying experience.
Hold excellent knowledge of the UK digital media landscape and put the consumer experience at the heart of activities and decisions.
Are a courageous leader and collaborator who can envision and energise large cross-functional teams and drive effective media owner relationships.
Have proven experience influencing senior stakeholders.
Can demonstrate strong strategic and analytical thinking to assess and recommend opportunities.
Have people management experience and a passion for developing others.
Have mastery with media planning tools such as TGI, GWI, Facebook Campaign Planner as well as Microsoft Office package.
Have some experience with digital buying platforms such as Google Adwords, DV360, Facebook Ads Manager, a Demand Side platform such as The Trade Desk.
Have experience with Consumer-Packaged Goods companies (although not essential).
