About you
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing the digital marketing strategy with the aim of supporting the growth of the business, you will be responsible for managing the company’s customer acquisition funnel managing and supporting activities across all stages of the customers experience. You will be motivated and commercially minded with a strong focus on lead generation. You’ll run a range of digital activities including content marketing, PPC, social, email, CRM, retargeting, targeted segmentation and more, all designed to raise Everflow’s profile among investors, decision-makers and target customers to drive acquisition, activation, retention and upsell, improving conversion and ROI.
What you'll do:
- Collaborate with the wider team to create a comprehensive multi-channel strategy to meet the company’s agreed objectives
- Manage all digital channels and produce campaigns to achieve strategic goals
- Monitor and report on campaign results including conversion and ROI
- Use a test and learn approach, including A/B testing, to optimise content and drive core KPIs
- Using tested data to create user segments and develop highly optimized strategies to develop each user segment
- Email marketing and data management – create and maintain customer journeys and automations, design and configure emails, segment audiences, ensure GDPR compliance and manage data
- Create content, both independently and in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders including PR and design agencies
- Manage external comms calendars alongside the wider team
- The right candidate will be a crucial part of the team, being able to assist with multiple tasks and happy to get involved with driving growth of the brand wherever is needed
- Stay on top of the latest trends and emergent issues in our industry (business model changes, new tools, products, and features)
- Leverage analytic tools (Google Analytics, Think with Google, and Google Trends) during market research to find ways to enhance the company’s marketing efforts
- Ensure the company blog, social media accounts, and website are continuously updated and optimized to provide a great user experience
- Compile performance reports on marketing initiatives and performance providing recommendations on improvement strategies
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in marketing and content creation to drive results
- Highly experienced in digital marketing and must be analytical and knowledgeable in using various analytic tools including Google Analytics
- Must have good attention to detail and take initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative with the confidence to take on responsibility and suggesting ideas
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- The ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines
- Experience producing and managing lead generation campaigns with proven ROI
- Experience in data segmentation and campaign optimisation to deliver ROI
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ideally you will have:
- Familiarity with marketing tools including Hootsuite, MailChimp and Canva
- Knowledge of Google Analytics
- A degree in English, journalism, marketing, or a similar field
- Experience with InDesign
- knowledge of SEO and PPC
- Familiarity with all major MS office applications
- Basic utility industry knowledge preferred but not required
