Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a Digital Marketing & PR Executive Apprentice with Visiongain, a Business Intelligence company based in Croydon.
Job Description:
Work closely with the sales, content, and marketing team to increase customer acquisition, retention and engagement while ensuring consistency of brand messaging. A key part of the role is securing media attention by creating best in class press releases, utilising PR software and measuring the success of our digital communications with google analytics.
Key performance indicators: KPI’s include increasing traffic to the website, gaining higher visibility on search engines and improving brand awareness.
Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
The brand marketing aims are to position Visiongain as a credible news and business intel source and increase brand awareness.
- Brand Ambassador – ensure the brand and brand values run through the DNA of all touch points. Initiate innovative ways to communicate the brand to both existing and new customers.
- Assist with internal marketing communications and external paid advertising and organic social campaigns.
- Responsible for the production and implementation of ads and promotional messages.
- Assist with the implementation and ongoing development of the subscription membership platform.
PR & SEO aims are to drive relevant traffic to the website and gain higher visibility on search engines.
- Researching, writing, editing and optimising website posts and editorials for website. on-page.
- Responsible for the co-ordination, delivery, and reporting of all PR campaigns (off-page)
- Work with the content manager and team to plan the annual content strategy
- Managing LinkedIn communications and other social media channels as required.
- Using search engine optimisation (SEO) to develop strong, targeted content that drives traffic to the communication message.
- Anchoring Text links with relevant links.
- Boosting press release SEO with compelling images, videos, and anchoring Text links with relevant links.
- Pitching news stories and Visiongain insight to newsrooms.
- Nurturing a live database of journalists, influencers and PR’s to get stories linked to business journals, content aggregators, financial databases, trade publications, online media, and TV and on radio stations.
- Media monitoring and social listening, media contacts databases, press release distribution, and PR measurement and reporting.
- To act as a member of the company wide crisis management team, including cover of social media channels, should the need arise.
Content production aims include producing work in the correct format and managing the content library well.
- Creating persuasive B2B content, that can live across multiple channels – such as podcasts, social media, print or audio.
- Producing, uploading and re-purposing Images, infographics, PDFs, on-demand video, audio, and webcasts.
- Assisting with organising, indexing and maintaining the internal photo/video library ensuring that all images are credited where required, images are cross referenced and easily accessed and that old imagery is archived, and new imagery/video sourced.
Qualifications:
5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)
Skills Required:
- An excellent command of written English.
- Strong copywriting and proofing skills, with a flair for storytelling.
- Basic understanding of Google Analytics.
- Working knowledge of Adobe suite and Final Cut Pro
- Highly organised with experience of balancing multiple projects.
- Able to assess the ROI of campaigns make recommendations based on the analysis of campaign performance data.

- Monitor and evaluate channel and campaign performance using different analytical tools.
- Adopt a test and learn approach to digital marketing activities, making recommendations for improvement.
