Digital Marketing Officer (Research)
You will work with the Digital Marketing Manager (Research) to plan, develop and implement all aspects of our Research and Innovation Strategy and showcase USW’s world-class and internationally excellent research across four key areas: crime, security and justice; creative industries; health and wellbeing; and sustainable environment.
This is an exciting time for us as we prepare to launch our new Research and Innovation Groups and begin to build our narratives of research impact in readiness for the next Research Excellence Framework.
You will play a key role in this work, helping to shape and drive forward our web-based content and digital presence, and telling the stories of our research to our key audiences of researchers, prospective students and partners / businesses, and other audiences including current students, staff, policy makers and the general public.
A key part of the role is to create films that represent the breadth of our research as well as promote individual projects through a variety of filmed content suitable for multiple platforms including social media.
You will work with researchers at all levels from doctoral students and early career researchers through to renowned professors. As such, we are looking for a confident individual with exceptional people and project management skills who has a proven track record of producing high quality editorial video content according to brand guidelines from concept through to delivery.
