Job Introduction Digital Marketing Manager
As a Digital Marketing Manager at Sodexo (Coventry University), you are not only a creative storyteller but also a community builder.
You will play a vital role in providing an engaging and immersive experience for students, staff, and visitors.
We’re pleased to offer the successful candidate the opportunity to be on site 4 days per week and 1 day at home, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in our vibrant community and make a meaningful impact on the role.

  • Develop and manage a dynamic marketing and communications plan to continuously engage with students, staff, and visitors.
  • Innovate and execute at least 2 captivating campaigns per month, fostering a vibrant community spirit across Coventry University.
  • Drive growth and engagement on social media channels, while continuously pushing the boundaries of innovation.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, Student Union societies, and local SMEs to create meaningful connections and bring new and exciting products to campus.
  • Provide support to Sodexo operational teams, ensuring alignment with client KPIs and exceeding expectations.
  • Capture and share content from events across various platforms, contributing to Sodexo's storytelling and reporting.
  • Champion and help plan events for Sodexo's Stop Hunger initiative, encouraging volunteerism and fundraising.

What you bring:
  • A natural people person with excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Solid understanding of social media and communications strategies.
  • Demonstrable organisational skills and ability to lead and influence others.
  • Experience in marketing events and a proven track record in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of modern student expectations and the ability to adapt accordingly.
  • Proficiency in creating digital and physical marketing materials.
  • Marketing degree (desirable but not essential).
