Digital Marketing Manager. A London-based market research fieldwork agency offering both qualitative and quantitative research services with a focus on quality and client service is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join their growing team.
The Digital Marketing Manager role is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join the company working with their clients to deliver quality insights. The Digital Marketing Manager key responsibilities are:
- Content writing. You will produce new content (additional pages, blog articles and case studies) so we would expect that you have a strong knowledge of marketing best practices, brand development and content execution.
- Social media activities and monitoring. Develop a successful programme of relevant campaigns which will involve engaging social media posts, to support the objective of growing the company’s brand and followership. Develop a regular programme of non-project-related Facebook and Instagram posts for our clients and research participants. Investigate other ways in which you might engage with company target audiences (e.g. use of TikTok).
- Website enhancement and monitoring. You will recommend design and structural changes to the company websites and oversee the implementation of them as agreed, and also improve both the on-page and off-page Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) for the websites. The websites are both built in WordPress using the Oxygen page builder. You should have some familiarity with WordPress to be able to make straightforward changes via the admin interface, and work with external suppliers to ensure that changes requiring significant work are implemented correctly and cost-effectively.
- Pay-per-click (PPC) advertising. You will have strong analytical skills and the ability to review, interpret and monitor the performance of Google/Microsoft ads and Facebook/Instagram ads and make recommendations on how this could be improved to ensure there is a good return on investment. You will also test whether Twitter, TikTok and/or Snapchat enable the firm to reach different demographics and/or achieve lower cost per panel application complete.
- Panel growth and engagement. You will recommend ways to grow the company’s panel of respondents and implement agreed suggestions. This may include developing a regular email marketing programme to keep respondents engaged. You will monitor the performance of emails, record hard bounces and remove them from the panel (after trying text message to ask if they want to sign up again).
Digital Marketing Manager key qualifications
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- At least two years of previous experience of B2B digital marketing with a hunger to learn more and develop your skills
- Excellent written communications, including the ability to author B2B website content to a high standard
- Prior knowledge of B2B/Consumer market research sectors desirable, but not essential

The Digital Marketing Manager salary is dependent on experience, c. £40-60k plus benefits
