About the role: The Digital Marketing Manager is a critical role responsible for delivering marketing solutions that accelerate the growth and development of both POLS university partnerships (new students) and our B2B services.
This position will champion and execute the marketing strategy for the course portfolio for our university partner, drive student acquisition and look for ways to optimise the student experience.
The role supports new program launches, leads development and implementation of new creative assets, and works with other team members to track, measure and optimise performance.
The Digital Marketing Manager is a client facing position and requires strong relationship building skills to continue building rapport, trust and collaboration with our program partner.

Our team: Pearson Online Learning Services Australia (POLS) partners with leading Australian Universities and assists them to acquire and retain students for online programs.

What you will do:
- Champion, coordinate and implement annual strategic marketing plans with measurable outcomes
- Develop brand and product messaging matrices ensuring creative aligns and effectively communicates product differentiators
- Create and interpret performance reports to support marketing and product strategies
- Act as key contact for partner institution, developing close collaborative relationships
- Champion customer insights within the industry and specific programs and use these to shape recommendations
- Establish and manage effective third party vendor/agency relationships to deliver projects on time, to budget, and meeting campaign/project objectives
- Maintain accurate budget forecasts and manage invoice tracking
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:
- Experience working in a similar role with proven ability to problem solve, think creatively, communicate clearly and be commercially minded
- Experience in customer acquisition via digital marketing channels
- Exceptional verbal, written communication and storytelling skills, with great attention to detail
- Experience leading, collaborating and influencing other marketing and cross functional team members in order to execute tactics quickly and efficiently
- Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Excel and Google Analytics experience is preferred.
