Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic digital marketing manager to join our innovative cyber security and compliance group that specialises in cyber defence in depth. You will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing and reporting on effective digital marketing strategies to promote our brand, products and services across various channels, while maintaining a strong focus on the unique trends and challenges of our ever-changing industry.
Key responsibilities:
- Helping develop and implement digital marketing strategies in alignment with company objectives.
- Managing and optimising affiliate marketing programmes, identifying new opportunities and partnerships to increase revenue.
- Planning, executing and optimising pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns across various platforms (e.g. Google AdWords, Microsoft Advertising).
- Overseeing social media marketing efforts, creating engaging content, managing social media accounts and driving community engagement.
- Coordinating and executing email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, A/B testing and performance analysis.
- Monitoring and optimising paid media campaigns, such as display advertising and sponsored content, to maximise return on investment.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent brand messaging and creative execution across all digital channels.
- Conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Tracking, analysing and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digital marketing campaigns.
- Keeping track of industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in digital marketing.
Essential skills and experience:
- Proven experience (ideally 2–3 years) in deploying and managing digital marketing campaigns, preferably in a similar industry.
- Expertise in affiliate marketing, PPC, social media marketing, paid media and email marketing.
- Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, email marketing software).
Desirable skills and experience:
- Understanding of SEO principles and experience in optimising content and websites for search engines.
Personal competencies:
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track, analyse and interpret data to drive informed marketing decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including generating and proofing compelling content and copy (using AI platforms when necessary).
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop innovative marketing strategies.
- Strong project management skills such as prioritising and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative team player who can work cross-functionally and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and quality.

Remuneration: Up to £40,000 p.a., depending on skills and experience
Basis: Full-time, permanent
Location: Home-based within the UK
