Job description
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager you will work with the Marketing team to oversee and develop the Digital Marketing Strategy for IKO.
This role requires an individual who has a strong grasp of current online marketing tools and strategies and is able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution, reporting and analysis.
Key responsibilities
· To work with the marketing team to define and develop the company’s digital marketing strategy
· Take ownership of the company’s online presence (social media, websites, e-marketing platforms)
· Manage online brand and product campaigns to raise awareness through all digital channels
· Develop, implement, track and optimize digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels
· Utilise a range of techniques including paid search, SEO and PPC.
· To launch digital campaigns on time and on budget
· Work with agencies in continuous improvement of the usability, design, content and conversion of the company website
· Research new online media opportunities that may benefit the business including mobile, social media, development of blogs and forums
· Experience using marketing tools – i.e. Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs/SEMRush, DotDigitial, HubSpot
PPC/SEO Requirements
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create landing pages and optimize user experience
- Experience with A/B and multivariate testing
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools such as Google Analytics
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
- Search engine optimisation (SEO): developing strategies to increase the number of visitors to IKO websites by achieving high-ranking placements in search results.
- Pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns: sponsored online advertising paid for by the business to appear alongside non-paid search results.
- Work with digital agencies to manage paid media
- Conduct keyword research and web statistics reporting
- Tracking conversion rates and making improvements to the website.
- A keen understanding of the components required to rank for keywords on SERPs. Keyword cluster knowledge along with remaining up to date with ranking trends is a key part of this role.
Social Media Requirements
- Social media marketing: developing a distinct online presence by attracting high numbers of internet followers through social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube
- Work with the Marketing team on developing the social media strategy
Reporting Requirements
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Use google analytics to monitor the performance of IKO websites and make recommendations for improvement

- At least 3+ years digital marketing experience
- Able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team
- Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
- Good marketing and sales knowledge
