JOB DESCRIPTION

• General marketing for our own company - occasional social media posts, website news posts and mailshots.
• The majority of the job will entail handling our SEO clients, whose sites you will look at each month and propose SEO work for.
• Some of this work will be done by yourself, but you will be assisted by our development team as/when necessary.
• Establishing a rapport with these SEO clients will be key, as we use it to bring in additional development work by suggesting updates and improvements to client's websites.
• The majority of SEO clients will be contacted via email or phone call only, but for some of the larger SEO clients you'll be expected to visit them in person, normally with another member of our team.
• We hope you'll be able to assist with bringing in sales by making contact with any potential customers - whether that's returning calls or responding to enquiries via email.
• We're a small business so we all get stuck in with a bit of everything, with everybody happy to hear your thoughts or ideas and provide feedback.

• Ability to manage your own work schedule.
• Someone who's looking for a role they can make their own.

IS EXPERIENCE NECESSARY?

• Ideally, yes, we're looking for someone who already has some marketing experience, especially with SEO, but we will consider all applicants.
• The most important aspect to us is that you're proactive.
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop and HTML is advantageous, but absolutely not a prerequisite.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Our work hours are 9:00-17:30 Monday to Thursday, and 9:00-15:00 on Fridays.
• We use a Flexitime system that allows you to work later and build up hours so you can leave early (not Fridays) if you have somewhere to be one day.
• We currently work from home full time, but this will be changing soon with a proposed 3 day office week (Tuesday - Thursday).
• The job is waiting for someone to come in and make something of it. If you bring in more SEO clients and we feel the need to hire another person, we'd be more than happy to promote you to Digital Marketing Manager, and improve the salary accordingly.
