Comfy Group is one of the UK & Europe’s leading sleep product suppliers, with a thriving and fast-growing digital business. The group sells a wide range of best-selling brands and products across multiple retail channels including a significant direct to consumer online offer. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Digital Marketer to help accelerate our growth journey.
The Role
Based in Wilmslow (hybrid working available), the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategy and execution of key digital marketing projects to promote our portfolio of products. This includes owning our plans and execution across social channels, email campaigns and influencer collaborations, supporting our thriving e-commerce business. Working with a dynamic marketing team, the role will play a key part in our business growth agenda.
In this role you will:
- Own the strategy and execution of Comfy Group digital marketing plans, working alongside brand marketing, e-commerce, and design teams to develop and brief commercial and creative campaigns, ensuring they deliver against brand and e-commerce objectives.
- Assist the e-commerce team in driving awareness, traffic, and conversion for our lead D2C platform SleepyPeople.com, with a focus on traffic generation via Social, Blogs, and Link acquisition.
- Manage our D2C social media channels (organic and paid activation) with brand team support, to drive brand and product awareness, channel engagement and website traffic. Deliver impactful campaigns across Instagram, Facebook and Tiktok.
- Lead our CRM/ email marketing programme and step change commercial delivery via accelerating database acquisition growth and increasing LTV.
- Manage influencer/brand partner talent, collaborations, and activations (both paid for and gifted); developing creative briefs, managing content review and tracking ROI & impact.
- Develop and implement new ideas to leverage digital trends and upskill the team.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5 years digital marketing experience including the following:
Essential:
Experience of owning and executing digital marketing plans either agency or in-house, with strong working knowledge of social media campaign building /ad set creation.
- Excellent copy writing skills across ads, email, blogs and beyond; impactful first impression; right first time
- Experience of CRM / email marketing programmes and database management; strong working knowledge of Klaviyo an advantage.
- Experience collaborating with influencers (both paid and gifted) and managing talent relationships
- Experienced in creating blogs and leveraging SEO to drive website traffic.
- Talent for creating engaging digital content, both independently and briefing teams to deliver.
- Strong commercial awareness and experience of campaign tracking tools eg Google Analytics
- Organised and able to prioritise workload across multiple projects at pace, whilst still having an eye for detail
- Experience of briefing design and campaign work and assessing responses in line with brand guidelines and objectives
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with campaign management digital tools such as Hootsuite and Meta Business manager is a must.
