Key Responsibilities


As a Digital Marketing Executive you will be responsible for:
  • Ideation: Devising and presenting ideas and strategies for outbound marketing communications.
  • Audience development: Designing target audiences to drive engagement, retention and acquisition through tailored customer journeys.
  • Copywriting: Writing and proofreading creative copy for outbound channels such as email, push and in-app notifications, web and paid media.
  • Design assistance: Working closely with internal design resource to deliver impactful campaigns in-line with the organisation’s brand.
  • Managing execution: Assisting the DMA on the management and delivery of digital marketing campaigns, working alongside other internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Evaluation: Evaluating campaign and user journey performance to deliver further optimisation of output.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Platform experience: Basic knowledge and understanding of various EDM communications, including email, push notifications, Messenger and WhatsApp, plus prior experience of content management systems.
  • Digital know-how: A knowledge of, and keen interest in, the digital landscape from channel marketing through to web and app delivery.
  • Campaign management: The ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, working with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ideation: Possess the creative flair to develop new content and campaign ideas that challenge the existing norms.
  • Forward-thinking: Curiosity and willingness to explore and recommend new and innovative digital marketing methods
  • Copywriting experience: Highly skilled copywriter in English with experience of crafting engaging stories and messages for marketing purposes.
  • Attention to detail: A keen eye for detail and high standards in execution is required to protect the global reputation of the organisation.
  • Natural team player: Desire to help assist the broader success of the team.
  • Passion for sport: An interest in sport, and the business of sport, and an understanding of the sector and relationships between rights holders, broadcasters, partners and the media.
  • Fantasy Premier League: Experience of playing Fantasy Premier League is desirable, while an existing knowledge of Premier League competition narratives is essential.
