An exciting new role of ‘Digital Marketing Executive’ has risen within the Marketing department for THE NICI.
This is a new position which has been created, primarily to assist the Head of Marketing, in the day to day management of THE NICI Digital Marketing activities, including social media, email campaigns and website updates alongside the delivery of effective Marketing campaigns and content across all digital and offline platforms.
We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketer, with a flair for creating engaging, impactful content and Marketing activity that will support customer and guest awareness, engagement and sales across F&B, rooms and new the leisure facilities. Based at our NICI hotel in Bournemouth and reporting to the Head of Marketing, the successful individual will support the Marketing function, working with key departmental managers and be instrumental in the supporting success of the NICI brand and hotel.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Digital Marketing Executive will help plan, support and deliver all marketing activities for THE NICI, primarily (but not exclusively) focusing on ensuring the marketing team effectively fulfils the NICI commercial strategy and targets, to maximise return on investment of all campaigns, by creating, implementing and measuring digital marketing activities that will enhance THE NICI’s awareness, image and position within the marketplace, alongside driving revenue.
The role will involve pro-actively supporting in monitoring, engaging and creating content for THE NICI social media platforms, website content management, email campaign delivery and asset creation, as well as providing Marketing activity support in the delivery of the ongoing Marketing plans both on and offline. Working and supporting the Head of Marketing and senior team members with the day to day delivery of marketing activities to ensure all deadlines and results are achieved.
DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

To support with the creation, implementation and measurement of a comprehensive marketing activities that will enhance the company’s image and position within the marketplace.
Key responsibilities include:
General:
- Supporting with the delivery of cross-channel brand and marketing activities for new and existing products, offers, promotions, campaigns, activities and launches
- Support and help direct the design, production and distribution of all digital and offline marketing activities
- Supporting with the delivery of the day to day activities of the marketing team
- Supports with the development and execution of local level brand partnership brand-enhancing events
- Identify opportunities for implementing marketing campaigns into all social media/ digital platforms.
- Support with competitor analysis to ensure the digital marketing strategy is competing effectively
- Supports with the implementation of the Digital strategy including website, mobile presence and content management and development of social media channels, with engaging content to establish the brand online channel as the priority source of revenue and brand awareness
- Help deliver lead generation campaigns and measuring results
- Establishes and maintains effective and positive relationships with the hotel team as well as other departments and external agencies
- Assist Head of Marketing to implement the THE NICI resort’s digital strategy and ensure all facilities and events are effectively promoted
- Carrying out research for various marketing and digital trends and of competitor activity and put forward creative ideas
- Support with the co-ordinating and support of media and ambassador / influencer visits.
- Attending internal meetings where required and updating other departments on forthcoming activity and results, supporting the Head of Marketing
- Supporting with the provision of analysis and reporting for all marketing activities
- Support with the delivery of a range of marketing materials to include promotional brochures and collateral, signage and event marketing requirements. Including supporting internal communications.
- Assist in the effective management of any agencies and third parties which may include but is not limited to creative, social, design, print and digital.
- Performs additional administration as required
Social Media
- Support with the management of social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation, audience growth, engagement and brand recognition
- Updating and scheduling content over all social media platforms and retaining a consistent presence of THE NICI brand on social media as well as acting as a key point of contact for social media enquiries. Required to respond to enquiries received through the social media inboxes and marketing enquiries from the website.
- Support with increasing engagement and interaction across social media and establish and develop online relationships with social voices and communities of influencers and bloggers, optimising opportunities from UGC.
- Required to write and use accurate, target driven copy in all social media communications, whilst maintaining The NICI brand standards
- Responsible for communicating any complaints or comments made on social media to the relevant department and ensuring satisfactory outcome of complaints
- Have a good knowledge and awareness of social media and new developments within the digital landscape. Assisting with the planning, developing and implementing digital strategies across THE NICI digital and social media channels
Website Content Management
- Utilising content management skills you will have some responsibility for maintaining content and layout for the website (via WordPress CMS), working closely with the Head of Marketing and internal teams, to ensure all information is correct and up to date
- Assisting in the growth and maintenance of the Resort’s online retail development to include all booking systems, vouchers, ticketing. Work with teams to implement any new systems and strategies achieve growth
Email Campaign Delivery
- Responsible for assisting with the scheduling and delivery of online email campaigns
- Supports with the delivery of activity and program of effective emails to drive audience engagement and revenue from a data driven CRM strategy
EXPERIENCE AND PROFILE
Minimum requirements:
- Experience of working in a fast paced, B-2-C marketing position, delivering proven, effective digital marketing activity and with a relevant Digital marketing qualification or the equivalent experience.
Proven track record in:
- In-depth social media knowledge and hands-on social media platform management experience
- Digital and on-line marketing experience, including PPC, SEO and e-commerce knowledge
- Experience in delivery of ecrm activity
- Website content management experience
- Experience in hospitality, retail or food and beverage would be advantageous
- High level of commitment and energy
- Ability to work well and deliver to deadlines and handle change
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
