The Royal Air Force Charitable Trust (RAFCT) is the parent charity of Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Enterprises (RAFCTE), the organisation that runs the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT).
We provide grants that deliver innovative STEM and aviation opportunities that support our vision and mission, all year round, partnering with key commercial partners and delivery organisations. The Royal International Air Tattoo is the charity’s main fundraising opportunity.
What Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive with extensive experience to join our marketing team to support the Head of Marketing in developing, producing and delivering the Company’s digital marketing and social media strategy.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Develop, implement and manage digital marketing campaigns to promote our Group according to business goals
- Coordinate the creation of Group digital content and manage end-to-end digital projects
- Search engine optimisation and paid Google advertising
- Develop the effective collection of data, providing reports and analysis on all online activity to measure response and effectiveness of campaigns.
- Deliver customer satisfaction surveys to measure and inform future plans.
- Lead on our social media using existing and new channels to promote RIAT and RAF CT develop content to engage and grow our brand and audience both organically and paid, working with external agencies where necessary to optimise ROI.
- Lead on the development of the Air Tattoo App to assist customers at the event and update over the show to ensure correct timings for activities and information as well as sending push notifications to alert visitors. Work with the Commercial Team to establish a sponsor and revenue generation from this.
- Ensure the legislation with regard to advertising, competitions etc. is adhered to, as well as the GDPR compliance of customer data with regard to marketing activity and any other regulations with regard to competitions, promotions and advertising standards.

36.25 hours per week. Applicants must be able to commit to working the weekend of the Royal International Air Tattoo (2023 – 15th and 16th July).
What We Will Offer:
A salary range of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum is accompanied by a pension and 4x life assurance, we also hold staff wellbeing and social events throughout the year. You will also be given two complimentary tickets to The Royal International Air Tattoo and a staff discount of 50% for an additional six.
About You:
If you have extensive digital marketing experience with the understanding of analytics behind social media. In depth knowledge and understanding of websites and CMS along with excellent organisation skills, and also the ability to work proactively towards deadlines, in a busy, fast-paced environment we would strongly encourage you to apply.
