As we continue our mission to make people happy through chocolate, we’re looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our Marketing team on a permanent basis.
Working across our performance media channels on digital marketing campaigns (including Paid Social, PPC, Display, and affiliates), you will be liaising with both internal stakeholders and our agency partners to create and optimise campaigns that drive profitable sales and attract new high lifetime value customers. As part of the Campaigns & Media team, you will plan and deliver combined creative and media strategies.

Here at Hotel Chocolat, we've adopted hybrid working This means you’ll join us on site for three days a week, and for the other two days – you can work from wherever you like! The on-site locations for this role are our Support Office, ‘Mint House’, in Royston, Hertfordshire, and our marketing office in Whitechapel, London. As long as you can commute to both as needed, you can base yourself at either for two days.
What you’ll be doing….
- Managing our PPC and paid social frameworks along with the day-to-day planning, execution and delivery of all campaigns.
- Analysing and reporting on campaigns to ensure continual optimisation and present business opportunities to improve.
- Working on ad copy and feed optimisations alongside agencies.
- Formulating display and retargeting campaigns, working with internal teams and external agencies.
- Supporting with referral scheme management.
- Working closely with key internal teams to align performance marketing KPIs with the wider business and campaign objectives.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with key agencies and suppliers.
Who you are…
Attentive to the detail, you can manage and prioritise multiple campaigns and projects whilst keeping standards high. You’re a collaborative and confident communicator, both written and verbally, with a real passion for the wider digital environment.
Essential
- Demonstrable experience in performance marketing - social media, Paid Search, Display or Affiliates.
- Experience of technologies and processes involved in running PPC and digital campaigns.
- Strong understanding of Google Analytics (GA4).
Desirable
- Broad social media advertising platform exposure including TikTok, Facebook, etc.
- Intermediate user of Excel.
