Guides for Brides is a specialist wedding marketing agency and online directory that puts wedding venues and suppliers in front of couples.
We’re looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Executive with a passion for content creation and PR to join our fast-paced team.
The role will involve strategy and implementation of Guides for Brides’ digital marketing, from promoting clients and events, to social media, content creation and paid campaigns, as well as working directly with clients on an agency basis.

The role will suit you if you enjoy:
- Strategy, implementation and analysis of effective content for social media and blogs
- Building relationships with clients, journalists and agency contacts
- Management of Guides for Brides’ social media accounts, keeping up with the newest features, trends, algorithm changes and implementing best practice
- A hyper-organised approach to content sourcing, client liaison and stakeholder communication
- Identifying and creating partnerships with relevant brands
- A proactive approach to community engagement
- Working with clients to achieve their objectives
- Relationship building in person, at networking events and online.
About you:
- You have at least 2 years experience working in a relevant marketing or agency role
- You have a bachelor's degree, or a relevant marketing qualification
- You are well versed in social media platforms and their trends / best practices, including: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and LinkedIn
- You have a good understanding of using social scheduling and analytics tools
- You have excellent writing and communication skills
- You have a confident telephone manner
- You have a full, clean drivers licence and access to a vehicle
- You have a genuine interest in weddings and the wedding industry.
It’s not essential, but this role is more likely for you if:
- You read and write in your spare time as well as for work
- You have worked in a marketing agency or as a freelance marketer managing multiple client accounts
- You understand how to create paid ad campaigns in Meta
- You have an eye for detail and what looks visually appealing
- You have an understanding of photo, video and audio editing platforms.
Based in: Wantage, Oxfordshire. Travel may be required during peak wedding fair/show season and to liaise effectively with marketing clients locally and across the UK.
Hours: Full Time, Monday - Friday, with some flexible working required on weekends and evenings. Work from home 1 day per week after probation.
Reporting to: Head of Strategy.
Holiday: 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
Salary: £22-28k per annum, depending on experience.
