Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park has been operating for 50 years and is one of the UK’s leading rural attractions. An excellent full-time opportunity has arisen for a digital marketeer at our award-winning Farm Park. You’ll need to be pro-active, creative and have over 2 years of recent digital marketing experience in a B2C environment.
Implementing our digital strategy, this role is packed with variety; you’ll create content for Facebook and Instagram; bring onboard influencers; write email content; as well as set up our online ads. No 2 days are ever the same!
With exciting development plans, Cotswold Farm Park is on a fast paced journey from a seasonal ‘day out’ to a larger scale visitor attraction with extensive accommodation. This would be an excellent point in time for an experienced marketing professional to bolster our Marketing Team
The successful candidate will be driven, creative and results orientated. You will enjoy being innovative to deliver a sales and marketing strategy across multiple revenue streams and take our brand to the next level. Familiar with analytics, you will be able to dig deep to understand what to optimise/improve. You will work alongside our skilled Creative Marketing Executive, who will provide you with high quality content/creative assets to achieve a strong digital presence.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
This is a broad reaching role, so we will expect you to bring high levels of specialist or technical skills and experience in some of these areas, and in the remaining areas to have sufficient knowledge and experience to oversee the delivery of these aspects through the team or via outsourced partner relationships. You will be working closely with key decision makers within the business, with external agency and specialist support.
Digital/Social Content
Ensure our content strategy (online and on-site) continues to develop, engage our guests and create memorable experiences. In particular, you will:
- Plan and create content across our 15 social channels, aligned with our strategic marketing and sales objectives
- Implement, administer and analyse our social influencer programme.
- Liaise with partner brands to ensure that Adam Henson’s social channels are delivering to agreed objectives
Email Marketing
Keeping in contact to past visitors and holiday guests is key for repeat business, you will:
- Implement and write copy for our email marketing programme.
- Drive growth in engagement, open rates, attributable revenue, and database sizes.
Digital Ads & Online User Experience
Our primary revenue streams (tickets and holidays) are largely through our digital sales channels. Working with the team (outsourcing as required), you will maximise digital sales opportunities through our commerce and content channels. You will:
- Work with external experts and agencies to ensure that we are at the forefront of digital practice.
- Ensure copy deadlines are met for digital ad banners.
- Set up, manage, analyse and provide reports and reccomendations for our digital advertising across Facebook, Instagram, and Google
- Maintain accurate guest information, including updating the website and third party listings.
Marketing & PR
This role’s scope will include building strong relationships, both internally and externally. You’ll be able to influence others and drive results to include:
- Understand the media landscape to ensure timely and insightful information is delivered to our PR agency.
- Issue ad-hoc local press releases locally for positive press coverage
- Represent Cotswold Farm Park with local tourism bodies
- Ensure that any guest communication is of the highest quality, utilising all channels to gain the greatest exposure & new business
- Support multiple activities and campaigns across different revenue streams and channels.
- Oversee the development and implementation of partnerships, including influencers, brand partnerships.
Sales
- Able to work with multiple stakeholders to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies (Revenue streams include ticketing, holidays, retail, food and beverage, media & corporate)
- Develop and deliver growth plans to hit business revenue targets, based on strong customer insights and data analysis.
- Analyse and report all marketing, sales, media and content activity and its impact on the business.
- Develop additional revenue streams around content, brand collaborations, affiliate, and merchandising opportunities.
What we’re looking for in you:
This is a highly rewarding role and in exchange we are looking for:
- Recent experience of working in a fast-paced B2C Marketing environment, with at least 2 years in an executive or senior level.
- You will have a good understanding of digital marketing and a track record of managing complex digital and social portfolios, as well as implementing large-scale, successful CRM programmes.
- Self-starter with lots of initiative and a ‘sales’ mindset.
- Good communication skills, both written & verbal.
- Ability to write copy with faultless spelling, punctuation and grammar, and create basic video/photo assets (we have inhouse a Creative Marketing Executive who will create more highly finished assets).
- You will be commercial, with experience of return on investment analysis and proven negotiation skills.
- Ability to make strategic decisions and recommendations based on facts, market trends and experience.
- This is a full-time, permanent position, based in the office at Cotswold Farm Park (GL54 5FL), working an average of 40hrs across a 5 day week. This will largely be Mon-Fri but occasional weekend and evening attendance will be expected around events and activities requiring marketing coverage.
