Background
The key role of Marketing & External Relations at City is to support the delivery of the Institution’s Strategic Plan through integrated and co-ordinated strategic marketing and communications activities designed to meet our student recruitment objectives and develop our external profile.
The Digital team is responsible for overseeing the development and promotion of City’s external website and for related activities around our broader digital presence, including our relationship with third-party sites, CRM, our social media strategy and presence on social platforms. The Digital team also provides digital consultancy and support for City’s academic Schools and Professional Services.
Responsibilities
The Digital Marketing Executive will contribute to the successful delivery of City's digital marketing communications by supporting the planning, execution and analysis of digital recruitment campaigns. Working with City’s media buying agency and recruitment teams they will arrange the buying of the most effective profile site packages (e.g. UCAS, WhatUni, etc) within the set budget and ensure content about City and its courses is accurate and up-to-date. The Digital Marketing Executive will support the administration of City’s Estore.
Person Specification
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a marketing or communications environment using digital technology for marketing purposes. They will have knowledge of the latest digital trends, good analytical skills and a strong working knowledge of digital analytic tools. They must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong numerical and data skills, with an eye for detail. They will be a strong team player with the ability to work on their own initiative.

Subject to agreement, relevant Professional Services roles may be undertaken in a hybrid way. This involves a combination of working on campus and at home each week.
