Digital Marketing Executive London, England

Canvas Events
Full Time London, England 25000 - 28000 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

The most dynamic venue finding platform in the events industry is recruiting a digital marketing executive to help drive expansion. Come and fulfil your potential at an organisation with a standout culture, driven by a mission to disrupt the events industry with creativity, innovation and growth at its heart.

The Company

Canvas is a subscription-based venue-finding platform generating high quality leads for some of the most unique and exclusive handpicked venues in London. We've got hundreds of exciting spaces, from spacious converted warehouses and majestic stately homes, to old industrial pump stations, and beautiful little Soho cafes.

It is an exciting time to join the company as we embark on a new period of expansion, following recent iterations to the product and driven by the huge demand for events following the pandemic.

You will be joining a small, close-knit team with a ‘start-up’ mentality in a nurturing, fun and creative culture. The team are passionate about the product and are fiercely driven to helping venues in London become successful.

Our mission is to become the number 1 venue-finding platform in London, with big aspirations to take our product to other cities in the UK and abroad. Canvas is already a well-known brand in the industry, with a reputation for harvesting high quality leads of around a million pounds a month from global brands like Airbnb, Vita Coco, Amazon and Xbox to name a few. With your help we want to expand our service even more.

Canvas is also part of a wider company, Location Collective, the UK’s leading film and production space location agency. Working together in our open plan collaborative office we are a formidable force in the filming and events industry.

We put a lot of emphasis on team unity, collaboration and personal development. We create an inspiring place where we work hard but have loads of fun along the way too. We regularly find opportunities to celebrate our successes with invites to some of the most exciting event spaces in London and trips to celebrate key milestones.

The Role

A crucial role has become available at an exciting time at Canvas. This is a unique opportunity for someone to own and lead the marketing function of Canvas and help us to drive more users to our site. You will also be supporting the customer success team with internal communications and being responsible for selling paid-for marketing packages to our venues. This role will fall under the customer success department as our venues are central to our success and it is key that our marketing is serving the goal of ensuring more and more bookings at our venues.

Culture is key for our business and something we’re acutely aware of building and nurturing. Teamwork makes the dreamwork and somebody that understands and adds to a high energy, collaborative atmosphere will be the perfect fit.

Your role:

  • Leading our social media strategy, creating and scheduling engaging posts across all platforms

  • Responsible for Listicle blogs featuring our venues, monthly newsletter, product updates & marketing brochures
  • Growing our subscriber database with engaging, informative content
