Role purpose

The Digital Marketing Coordinator is primarily responsible for the coordination and management of all digital paid media channels. This role is a critical part of our marketing team, as they will be increasing sales revenue and traffic driven to Aesop.com and our stores.

In this role, you will support the brand, retail and our ecommerce site, generating demand, conversion and enrich customer journeys through the online and offline touchpoints.

Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to –

  • The day-to-day management of the Aesop performance marketing channels: paid search, display/programmatic, affiliate, paid social

  • Working alongside Creative, CRM and Digital Marketing and agency partners to develop Aesop digital marketing strategy and establish key channels

  • Drive campaigns from planning to execution and beyond to meet key performance metrics

  • Constantly optimize marketing activities to improve return on investment

  • Allocate budgets and analyse and recommend modifications to ad spends

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to guide A/B creative tests, incrementality tests, and spend scaling tests on campaigns online and offline to identify what works best

  • Test new channels and trends (such as voice search, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Digital Out of Home, etc.)

  • Leverage customer insights to better segment, target and reach potential customers

This is a full-time position operating with a hybrid working pattern. The role is a fixed term contract, for 12 months.

What we are looking for

  • A proven track record of demonstrating exceptional knowledge and understanding of the Digital landscape – with a key focus on Performance Media marketing channels

  • Analytics and database tools such as Excel, Google Analytics, Tableau etc.

  • Knowledge and prior usage of tools like Facebook Ad Manager, AdWords

  • Exposure to data visualization and reporting tools, such as Tableau, is a plus

  • Keeping abreast of emerging technologies and developments in the digital industry

  • An analytical mind and are able to interpret numbers and data into actionable insights

  • Natural communication skills – confident in presenting ideas and drive growth opportunities

  • An excellent command of the English language, verbal and written

  • Brilliant organization skills who can multitask and prioritise multiple projects and deadlines with ability to work under pressure and who can be reactive and flexible in a fast-paced environment
