The Role
We are hiring a talented Telemarketer Specialist to join our brand new team at our digital marketing company. If you're excited to be part of a unique start up and have good knowledge and understanding of SEO and PPC, we want to talk to you.
We are a new marketing agency with founders who each have industry experience of 10-20 plus years. We will be providing services for marketing, web development and business optimisation.
Responsibilities
Research to obtain names and telephone numbers of potential customers from sources such as telephone directories, lists purchased from other organisations, media articles and other lead databases.
Contact businesses by telephone, email or social media in order to book appointments for our business development team.
Deliver prepared sales talks, that describe our services, in order to persuade potential customers to purchase our service .
Daily Tasks
The job will involve:
- Sourcing and qualifying leads
- Cold calling to book appointments and sell a mixture of services: SEO, PPC, Web Development.
- Answer telephone calls from potential customers who have been solicited through advertisements
- Processing Information; Compiling and categorising or verifying information or data.
- Maintaining relationships with customers for future sales opportunities
- Overcoming barriers or objections - Making Decisions and Solving Problems -- Analysing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
- Maintaining accurate CRM records - Record names, addresses, purchases, and reactions of prospects contacted
- Meeting or exceeding daily and monthly targets
- Communicating with Supervisors and Peers- Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
Skills
- Verbal Communication - Talking to others to convey information effectively. Equivalent to an English speaking native.
- Persuasion - Persuading others to change their minds or behaviour.
- Time Management - Managing and organising one's own time to meet targets.
- Monitoring - Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, to make improvements or take corrective action.
- Social Perceptiveness - Being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do, to tailor sales pitches to different customer types.
- Computer literate - Experience using CRM systems, data entry and online resources
- Commercial Focus - Ability to identify opportunities for the business and maximise potential revenue
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years in a Telemarketing role
- Startups experience a distinct advantage.
- Good knowledge and understanding of Digital Marketing including SEO and PPC
Knowledge
- Sales and Marketing -- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
- Customer and Personal Service -- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment and meeting quality standards for services.
