Job Summary:
Toyota Canada Inc. currently has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Coordinator to support our Digital Marketing team. This is a full-time opportunity where the role focuses on three key functions: LCM, Coordinating lead of the tier 1 email marketing programs for both Toyota and Lexus Canada (i.e., Lifecycle Communication Management) reporting into the Digital Marketing Manager. Responsible for the day-to-day coordination of LCM operations. Coordination of budget and content across key TCI stakeholders, liase with email agency (Jam), QA of inbox tests, quarterly reporting to internal teams and more. Finance: Track budget day-to-day and report risks and opportunities to the Digital marketing manager. Administers all digital marketing PO’s and processes invoices through SAP. Social Media & Content: Supports the Social Media Consultant in all activities from Influencer/content creator handling to working with partner agency on the bi-weekly review meeting.
What’s the Scope?
- Works across the organization to understand priorities for our Email CRM communications program, brief agency partner or requirements and project manage delivery
- Day to day support on all Social & Digital Media initiatives
- Assist the consultants in becoming the thought leaders in Digital for TCI supporting, developing and governing the growth of Toyota as a digital powerhouse
- Build strong and trusting relationships with agencies and other partners to ensure smooth running of all projects where social is present
- Support Digital Manager in organizing and running the team in a smooth fashion by taking lead on administration functions and vendor invoice processing
- Lead the budget tracker process for digital marketing expenses and work closely with the Manager to make sure we are spending on pace

What You’ll be Doing:
Coordination Lead of the Core Tier 1 LCM Program
- Coordinate across eight key TCI stakeholders to consolidate requirements, write briefs and deliver to agency for each LCM email deployment.
- Cultivate a strong partner relationship in order to boost agency efficiency and effectiveness
- Oversee, and optimize budget cost-sharing program as well as the LCM enhancement budget on behalf of multiple stakeholders with attention to detail
Social Media & Content Project and Initiatives
- Lead cost-effective content shoots using influencers and content creators, setting up creators with vehicles, picking selects from their output and making recommendations to the Social Media Consultant
- Participate in bi-weekly content review sessions for both Toyota & Lexus with partner agencies along with monthly reporting sessions
Digital Team Finance Coordination/Budget Tracking
- Administrator all digital marketing related invoices through SAP in a timely manner.
- Execute and adhere to month-end obligations and finance deadlines accordingly (i.e., ensure accruals, prelim and final reporting review, SAP alignment with tracker)
- Track, and optimize the digital marketing budget with 0% variance through concise tracking with Microsoft Excel and strong monthly communication with relevant stakeholders
Administration & Co-op Training
- Initiate Co-op onboarding sessions, training, monthly reviews to ensure student is equipped with success and has the mentorship to develop professionally
- Brainstorm, develop, and distribute the monthly marketing brand newsletter via. HR Communications
What You’ll Bring:
- College or university degree in related discipline
- Minimum 2 years relevant work experience (including Co-op’s)
- Knowledge and understanding of current and emerging digital / social media platforms
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong project leadership skills with demonstrated experience
- Strong organizational, leadership, negotiating skills
- Ability to work across the organization to build alignment and consensus on key initiatives
- Detail oriented and able to multitask efficiently
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Self-motivator with ability to start and complete projects with limited to no supervision
- Customer first orientation
- Proven ability to initiate & improve work processes to increase efficiencies
