Role:

Heaton Group are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic, and versatile Digital Marketing Manager to join our friendly team based in our Sales & Marketing office in Wigan Town Centre.

This is a full-time, permanent, on-site role.

Reporting to our Sales & Lettings Director, you will be responsible for all aspects of the business’s digital marketing and lead generation strategy. You will be joining a very fast-paced environment; on a day-to-day basis, you will be managing multiple workloads, moving from long-term system implementation to supporting our Marking Executive and Graphic Designer with content and campaign delivery.

As Digital Marketing Manager, your reporting and measurement skills must be second to none, with the ability to draw insight from data (across multiple platforms) to inform the wider team, future campaigns, and platform improvements.

The ideal Digital Marketing Manager will have a lead-centric mindset, be detail orientated, highly collaborative and organised, and be accustomed to performance measured by results. This role is primarily managing the Google Ads campaign whilst continuously improving the website pages and conversion rate.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Although these can vary depending on the developments and the needs of the business, the core responsibilities include:

  • Managing Google Ads campaigns to drive lead flow and boost internal sales.
  • Setting up LinkedIn & Facebook ad campaigns.
  • Continually updating the group’s websites & microsites across HubSpot & WordPress, with some pages being hard coded using HTML.
  • Reporting on campaign performance and presenting to Directors.
  • Ongoing management & development of the HubSpot platform.
  • Assisting the rest of the marketing team in creating relevant marketing material across multiple platforms.
  • Search engine optimisation to drive additional traffic and conversion rate to better convert the traffic received.
  • Online brand reputation management.

Skills:

  • The ability to devise, manage, and monitor PPC campaigns on Google Ads (Essential).
  • The ability to use GA4 to assess and improve PPC campaigns (Essential).
  • An in-depth knowledge of using HTML to develop websites on both HubSpot & WordPress (Essential).
  • The ability to use SEMRush/SEO Tools to gain SEO insight and implement that into the digital content strategy (Essential).
  • Experience managing paid social campaigns on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram (Essential).
  • Experience with Apollo.io email campaigns & SendGrid integration (Desirable).
  • Experience in using the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of software (Desirable).
  • A wide range of knowledge & best practice in the digital space (Essential).
  • Knowledge of API implementation and debugging (Desirable)
  • A comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Essential).
  • The ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to change within the business as it grows and evolves (Essential).
