Full time – Permanent

Monday to Friday – 8am – 4:30pm

Salary – up to £30,000 depending on experience
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to join a fantastic organisation, based in Nottingham City Centre.
The Digital Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in planning, implementing, and optimising our clients digital marketing campaigns across various channels. This position requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional who is experienced in PPC advertising, particularly Google Ads. The ideal person will be well-versed in digital marketing best practices, possess excellent communication skills, and have a proven track record of delivering successful campaigns.
Responsibilities:
· Develop, implement, and optimise digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, with a primary focus on PPC advertising (Google Ads, etc.).
· Utilise market research and customer insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for growth.
· Manage and optimise digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
· Conduct keyword research, ad copywriting, and ongoing campaign optimisation to maximise conversions and ROI.
· Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to the marketing team.
· Collaborate with the marketing department to develop compelling ad creatives and landing pages that align with campaign objectives.
· Stay up to date with industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and emerging digital marketing technologies.
· Utilise analytical tools, such as Google Analytics, to track website traffic, user behaviour, and other key metrics to optimise marketing efforts.
· Provide recommendations for website optimisation, including landing page improvements, user experience enhancements, and conversion rate optimisation.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer service, underwriting and finance, to align digital marketing initiatives with overall business goals.
Experience required:
· Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Specialist or a similar role, with a minimum a year of hands-on experience in managing PPC campaigns, this is essential for the role.
· Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
· Expertise in Google Ads, including campaign setup, optimisation, and performance tracking. Experience with Bing Ads and other PPC platforms is a plus.
· Proficiency in using analytical tools, such as Google Analytics, to measure and track campaign effectiveness and website performance.
· Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices to ensure effective integration with PPC campaigns.
· Worked in Financial Services
· Dealing with 3rd party companies for example marketing companies and lead generation firms
· Knowledge of Salesforce
