Digital Marketing Executive (SEO Focused)

£26,000 to £30,000 per year

Our client, a globally recognised manufacturer of sporting goods, is looking for a Digital Marketing Executive that has a key focus on SEO, to join their team based at their location in Winchester. This is a great opportunity to join this well-established local company producing high quality sports equipment offering protection to customers around the world.

As a Digital Marketing Executive you will be required to carry out various duties such as:

Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to drive traffic, increase brand awareness, and generate leads.

• Managing and optimising advert campaigns with Google to push traffic towards the company website and to maximise the return on investment.
• Utilising SEO techniques to improve and enhance the company website and keyword rankings.
• Collaborating with the content department to create engaging and SEO-friendly content for the company website and any other digital sources.
• Using the advertising platform on Facebook to deliver sales through campaigns.
• Monitoring and analysing website analytics, user behaviour, and campaign performances to identify areas for improvement and optimising conversion rates.
• Managing and optimise e-commerce platforms, including Shopify and BigCommerce, to enhance the customer experience as well as driving sales.
• Ability to work with the companies other channels including Amazon
• Monitoring and reporting on KPIs to track the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and providing insights to stakeholders.
• Providing sales support by assisting the customer service team with before/during and after sales advice via email and social media

The following qualifications/experience is required:

• Proven experience in Digital Marketing or similar, preferably within the sports industry.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles, techniques, and tools.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Google adverts, including setting up campaigns, optimisation, and tracking.
• Strong experience with e-commerce platforms, such as Shopify and BigCommerce, including product management and optimisation.
• Experience with Facebook advert manager and other social media advertising platforms.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and engaging digital content.

Standard working hours are Monday to Fridays from 09:00 - 17:00.

The annual pay for this role is between £26,000 to £30,000 per year depending on experience.
