Role Overview
The Digital Marketing Operations Specialist aligns and optimises marketing activities and processes, this includes data analysis and reporting, monitoring market trends, tracking and analysing customer behaviour, campaign development and implementation, platform management, search optimisation and evaluation of marketing activities.
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the role is key to supporting delivery of the marketing plan, optimising effectiveness of both inbound and outbound marketing activity, with the objective of increasing brand awareness, product promotion, customer engagement and generation of qualified leads for the sales team.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience of digital marketing with a strong desire to work in a growing organisation long term, the ability to assist in the success of the marketing team and have a background or interest in the energy, engineering, or technology sector.
Whilst the ideal candidate will be based in Aberdeen, we are open to candidates applying from elsewhere across the UK. Flexible working options are available.
Role Responsibilities
- Cost-effectively exploit and scale the interactivity, targeting, personalisation, and optimisation of digital channels
- Design customer journey’s based on insights and manage the end-to-end customer experience across digital channels
- Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns including social media, email, display, SEO SEM and PPC
- Ownership of the website and digital channels associated with marketing operations
- Build and maintain brand identity across digital channels
- Keep abreast of new technologies and identify opportunities to improve marketing operations and customer experience
- Provide monitoring, analysis and reporting of key performance metrics to measure marketing success and inform campaign development, including provision of Hubspot reports to internal stakeholders on a regular basis
- Ensure compliance with brand guidelines across marketing campaigns and communications
- Collaborate internally (Marketing, Content, Sales, Partnerships) and externally (client-facing) to achieve marketing objectives
Skills/Experience/Qualifications
- Qualification in Marketing / Digital Marketing or appropriate level of demonstrable experience in a digital marketing role
- A good understanding of B2B marketing
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of Hubspot
- Experience with analytics and optimisation platforms and tools
- Knowledge of the latest digital marketing trends and technologies
- Excellent communications, IT literacy, data analysis and reporting skills
- Ability to deliver tasks accurately and on-time, with excellent organisational skills
- The ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues and clients
