KOJA Consulting is a Vancouver-based consultancy offering fractional project management and leadership to teams looking to create efficiency or solve a problem. Our mission is to expand our clients’ capacity and expertise to achieve strategic goals by providing part-time project management services. We partner with teams of all shapes and sizes to develop and implement appropriate solutions.
To date, the majority of our clients have been nonprofit and charitable organizations. KOJA supports their capacity and skill-set gaps to further their mandates, which have included missions ranging from legal services for women fleeing violence to parenting and family support services. We are very proud of our relationships with these entities, many of whom are repeat clients and part of our active referral network.

Role Description
KOJA is preparing to expand to serve more clients across the Greater Vancouver area and beyond. Through webinar events and a targeted LinkedIn marketing strategy, the company aims to develop valuable partnerships and referrals within its industry network.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized student who will facilitate growth-oriented initiatives, depending on the interest and skill set of the intern, which may include a combination of any of the following:
- Develop and implement engaging LinkedIn content marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and drive traffic to the company's LinkedIn page.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute SEO-informed strategies across the company's website and other online channels.
- Support website design and development initiatives, including landing page for event registrations, email subscriptions etc.
- Research values-aligned partner organizations to deliver presentations and workshops to.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of event logistics, such as Zoom registration and technical support as needed for group workshops.
- Develop marketing materials, such as invitations, email announcements, and social media posts, to promote the events (copywriting and simple graphic development).
- Create and maintain marketing reports to track performance, identify areas for improvement and share insights with the team.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in digital marketing, SEO, and website design to inform marketing strategies and tactics.
- Along with weekly team meetings, the intern will participate in 1:1 check-ins with a senior team lead where they can discuss roadblocks, share feedback and seek career-related guidance.
The position is fully remote, with the possibility of in-person meetings and events if the successful candidate is located in Vancouver, BC. The successful candidate must have reliable access to the internet and a laptop, as meetings and work are conducted online. We provide a stipend for interns to help cover the cost of reliable internet access during their internship.

Expertise & skills we’re looking for, or are willing to support the development of for the successful candidate:
- Social Media Marketing: Knowledge of how to create and implement a social media content marketing strategy.
- SEO: Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) principles and how to collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute SEO-informed strategies.
- Event Planning and Coordination: Ability to assist in the planning and coordination of logistics for events, such as Zoom registration and technical support as needed.
- Marketing Materials Creation: Ability to create marketing materials such as invitations, email announcements, and social media posts.

This paid student internship, made possible by MITACS, will take place for a flexible period of 4 to 6 months. The position requires approximately 25 hours of work per week. Interested candidates must meet the necessary grant requirements to be considered for the role.
