Firebrand Training have an exciting new opportunity for a Digital Marketing Executive Apprentice with Escapade, a ultimate indoor and outdoor adventure parks based in London.

Job Description:

This is a new role in a fast paced and growing commercial team supporting Escapade’s ambitious growth plans.

Strategy, creativity and delivery:

The Digital Marketing Executive will be responsible for supporting the Head of Marketing and Commercial Director in creating and delivering a digital strategy for the Group and each of its brands and sites.

The successful candidate will need to generate ideas and campaigns to drive customers to our websites and maximize conversation rates.

Websites ownership, evolution and maintenance:

The post holder will be responsible for the customer journey on our websites and digital channels, including automated transaction emails and newsletters. The Digital Marketing Executive must generate, edit and maintain all digital content and ensure information across all digital channels is accurate and up to date at all times. The postholder will also be responsible for best possible customer journey through our websites.

Agency liaison and reporting

The role holder will work closely with our digital and booking system agencies, delivering continuous improvement to the customer experience and regular updates to content and products.

The Digital Marketing Executive will design and create management reports on digital channel performance, along with highlighting issues to be addressed and recommended solutions. They will analyse websites and overall digital performance and make recommendations to improve effectiveness.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing, and Commercial Director, this role requires tech proficiency in using digital channels such as website management and email newsletter systems or the necessary transferable skills. Please note this role does not lead on social media but experience in managing these would be beneficial.

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

  • Assist the Head of Marketing with the Digital Marketing Strategy development for the Group and each site.
  • Manage 7 existing websites with potentially more to come.
  • Work with the digital media agency to ensure digital comms strategy is delivered and on budget.
  • Lead on digital and email acquisition, engagement and retention strategies.
  • Develop digital and email audience segmentation analytics.
  • Design and maintain digital and email analytic and reporting dashboards.
  • Analyse and report on site guest sales data and design digital and email campaigns around group and site goals.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop a clear content plan to drive customer.
  • engagement and sales.
  • Develop tactics to build each site’s databases.
  • Manage the email content plan in line with marketing calendar to ensure reengagement, acquisition, retention with key customer segmentation.
  • Drive loyalty and referral programmes through membership, acquisition and retention campaigns and ongoing reporting.
  • Manage the customer databases in line with GDPR best practices.
  • Ensure smooth data flow between all platforms and guest journey touchpoints.

Qualifications:

  • 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths).

Skills Required:

  • A commercial and strategic thinker ideally with some marketing experience with data management.
  • Proactive and organised with the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Inquisitive analytical approach that enjoys testing and analysing activities and campaigns.
  • Ideally demonstratable experience in email marketing best practice and reporting.
  • Experience across of all digital marketing channels and platforms.
  • Experience in Microsoft applications.

Training to be provided:

Firebrand’s sector leading Level 3 Digital Marketer (L3DM) Apprenticeship Programme trains apprentices to define, design, build and implement digital campaigns across a variety of online and social media platforms to drive customer acquisition, engagement and retention.

Apprentices will learn to use Google Analytics, embed marketing and coding principles in the work they carry out, and how social media is impacting the current and future marketing environment.

Firebrands course is delivered either Online (online live instructor led), or face to face in the classroom environment (your choice). Our Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Learning Mentors (LMs) and world-leading trainers prepare apprentices to work across multiple sectors.

Completion of this apprenticeship will provide learners with the following world class vendor.

Certifications in addition to the Digital Marketer apprenticeship:

  • Beginner & Advanced Google Analytics.
  • CIW Social Media Strategist.
  • BCS Level 3 Award in Principles of Coding.
  • BCS Level 3 Certificate in Marketing Principles.

Key areas covered are:

  • Effective use of Google Analytics.
  • Principles of Coding and Marketing.
  • Effective use of Social Media.
