Job Title: Marketing Modern Apprentice
Location: Dundee
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Contract: 2 year Apprenticeship (fixed term)
Salary range: £13,632 per annum

Tell me more about the role?
Caledonia Housing Association is excited to offer the position of Marketing Modern Apprentice to a candidate who is digitally literate, social media savvy, has strong communication skills and is ready to develop all of these skills into a career in Marketing.
Reporting to our Communication and Engagement Officer, you will work together to create and deliver our Marketing and Communication Strategy. This role will suit someone with a good eye for detail who is digitally savvy, knows about social media and wants to learn about branding and visual content in a corporate environment.
What will I learn?
This is an exciting opportunity to simultaneously begin your career with a leading provider of quality affordable housing, earn a salary, and gain a fully funded Diploma in Digital Marketing with Dundee and Angus College.
Initially you will complete 1 day per week either at college or completing self-led learning and 4 days per week of workplace learning. What you do in work will also count towards your qualification where you will gain vital industry experience.
A workplace mentor will be assigned to you to support you throughout your apprenticeship, however our whole team will be happy to help and support wherever they can.
What qualification or qualities are required?
You’ll have a head start in this vacancy if you’ve completed a Foundation Apprenticeship in a related field. We’ll need you to provide evidence of your qualification and show you gained the relevant skills from your placement
Any of the following will be considered for entry to the programme.
- NQ5 or Higher in English, English & Communication, Media or similar subject
To gain the qualification, students are required to have a certain level for core skills: numeracy, communications, ICT, problem solving and working with others. If you do not have the required level, then this will be assessed as part of your MA.
Applicants must also be:
- Living and working in Scotland
- At least 16 years old (no maximum age)
- Please note, the above salary is based on the National Apprenticeship Wage for 18-20 year olds. We welcome applications from all age groups and the salary will vary accordingly in line with statutory wage rates.
